TIPS FOR THE GROOM ON HIS WEDDING DAY
Your wedding day is going to be stressful enough without you having to worry about added pressure. Here are a few tips to make your wedding day easier..
- Remember socks that will match the tux! Bring
extras in the event a groomsman forgets his.
- Bring a spare shirt.
- Eat something no matter how nervous you are.
How embarrasing would it be to faint in front of your guest due to
low blood sugar. Yes, I would get pictures of it!
- Be on time. If the wedding is at 5:00 and
the bride says be there at 3:00 then be there at 3:00! Don't do anything
to stress your soon to be wife out! Don't start things off in the
dog house!
- Leave your running shows at home.
- Relax and have fun with your groomsmen.
- Bring a little sewing kit since buttons pop
off of tuxes often. I am sure there will be a mom or someone around
that can fix it.
- Give the bride some little something to let
her know you are thinking of her. Even a single flower will make her
feel special. Brownie points...remember the moms!
- Help keep the groomsmen and ushers from wondering
off.
- Double check with the limo service and DJ.
- It is okay to be nervous.
- It is okay to cry when you see your bride
or during the ceremony. I have seen construction workers, firefighters
and policemen all cry tears of joy. Take it from a married man, there
is nothing wrong with showing your wife how you feel.
